First, check if your Mac is still under **Apple warranty** or **AppleCare**. If so, contact Apple directly or an authorized Apple Service Provider.

#### 2\. Apple Recall Programs (since expired)

Apple used to offer **free repairs** for certain known defects, even outside the warranty period:
