This way your data is preserved and the repair costs remain significantly lower.

Apple MacBook Logic Board Repair

Logic board repair means the restoration of the main board (logic board) of a MacBook on a component basis. Instead of the entire board, specifically defective chips, capacitors and controllers are replaced.

We repair circuit failures, charging problems and startup errors on logic boards of all MacBook generations – from Intel models to M1, M2, M3 and M4 chips. The repair also includes damage from overvoltage, defective power supplies or swollen batteries.

Before the repair, a free error analysis is performed. Then an individual repair offer is created. The repair includes 12 months warranty.

Typical Causes of Logic Board Damage in Intel and Apple Silicon Macs (M1, M2, M3, M4)

While water damage can affect many components on different circuits, older Intel MacBooks often have issues with the SMC, graphics chip or CPU. Apple Silicon MacBooks (M1, M2, M3) have different typical sources of failure. Often the device suddenly fails because a capacitor breaks down between two lines and passes voltage from a higher line to a lower one or to ground – the MacBook then no longer starts. In some cases, SSD NANDs also break and must be replaced.
